📏 How big is a Retold Bag?

Each Retold bag can hold up to 5 lbs. Bag dimensions are 15.5 x 17.5 x 4” thats about the size of a pillow case.  
*Please note there is an additional 1.5" wide adhesive strip that folds over to seal the bag.

🧦 What can go into a Retold Bag? 

Any and all textiles! Chewed up dog toy? Lost sock? We take it all! We request that you give all textiles a good wash and dry before packing them!

Drop it like it’s hot

Fill your bag – whether it’s just one sock or packed to the brim! Our pre-labeled bags come with a shipping label already attached, so they’re good to go right away.

*For orders of Three Bags in a Box, labels can be purchased separately afterward.

Once you're all set, simply drop it off at your mailbox, mail room, or with your doorman and skip the lines at the post office! We'll take it from there, giving your unwanted items a whole new story to tell.

We’ll do the right thing

Together with our partners, we'll sift and sort your  goods, sending them to thrift stores, donation centers, recyclers, resellers and up-cyclers. We're proud to  say nothing will go from your Retold bag to landfill!

Love retold!
I love recycling fabric scraps and worn-out clothes with retold. It's great to know that I'm giving my textile waste a better chance at being recycled!

Easy Peasy
No more bags in the garage waiting to be transported to the trunk of my car to then wait forever to take to a charity organization. I signed up for a subscription and receive my bag, stuff some stuff in it and drop off at the post office that I drive by all the time anyway.

Best Quarterly Subscription
Having 3 kids means that we end up with lots of clothing that is damaged and cannot be donated! The quarterly subscription means that I can recycle clothing with the least amount of effort and without clothing piling up somewhere. The bag arrives every 3 months and I’m able to drop it off at any post office, so easy!!! I love knowing I’m not contributing to the landfill and I don’t have to stress about storing things and it cluttering up the house or doing a deep dive and running all over town to recycle clothes.
