📏 How big is a Retold Bag?

Each Retold bag can hold up to 5 lbs. Bag dimensions are 15.5 x 17.5 x 4” thats about the size of a pillow case.  
*Please note there is an additional 1.5" wide adhesive strip that folds over to seal the bag.

Any and all textile! Chewed up dog toy? Lost sock? We take it all! We request that you give all textiles a good wash and dry before packing them!

Drop it like it’s hot

Fill your bag – whether it’s just one sock or packed to the brim! Our pre-labeled bags come with a shipping label already attached, so they’re good to go right away.

*For orders of Three Bags in a Box, labels can be purchased separately afterward.

Once you're all set, simply drop it off at your mailbox, mail room, or with your doorman and skip the lines at the post office! We'll take it from there, giving your unwanted items a whole new story to tell.

We’ll do the right thing

Together with our partners, we'll sift and sort your  goods, sending them to thrift stores, donation centers, recyclers, resellers and up-cyclers. We're proud to  say nothing will go from your Retold bag to landfill!

So Glad I Ordered Bags!
I ordered two bags and they each held a lot. I was finally able to declutter socks, underwear, and some old tshirts. I hadn’t gotten rid of the items because I hate the thought of throwing material in the trash. I’m ordering more bags because I’m ready to recycle more items. Thank you!

Solo Bag
I love that I am able to send in old clothing, towels or other various textile items to be recycled knowing they are beyond a second life and wont end up in a landfill. I love the bag itself is not plastic. I would love for a larger bag, but being not plastic may be the reason due to durability.

Effiecient way to recycle unwearable clothing and other fabric
I liked this option for recycling fabric scraps, old sheets and unwearable clothing. The solo bags are a little small but very easy to use and fairly inexpensive. It feels good to find a use for misc. fabric that no thrift stores will take.
