    Recycling sewing scraps

I love this concept! I upcycle thrifted clothing and vintage fabrics into pillows, table runners, and other home decor. I use ever bit of fabric I can.

But still have bits and pieces and scrap. I am so glad these can be recycled. The photos I am sharing are some of my pillows from swim trunks.

So handy to have around. I sew and weave and always have small pieces of cloth or yarn left over.

    Yes, to Fabric Recycling!

This past week I sent in my 2nd bag of fabric scraps. I like knowing these scraps will become something new and not fill up a landfill. Those small little pieces add up so fast and I now don't need to feel guilty that they are thrown away or having them take up space in my studio. I have shared this program with all my sewing and quilting friends. Thank you for providing this Re Told service.
