Where were you born?
I was born in the island-state of Penang, in the north of Malaysia. Penang was the first British outpost in the Straits of Malacca.
When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Like all boys, I wanted to be a fireman. Then, I watched an episode of Dynasty...hello Alexis Carrington...nuff said!
Any special talents?
I can circular breathe while playing the didgeridoo (I play really badly, though)

If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only bring one thing, what would it be?
A self-recharging iPad!
What would you name your boat / band / thoroughbred horse?
She’ll be right! It’s mindfulness done the Aussie way (our version of “this, too, shall pass”)
What’s the scariest / hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Hiking Mt Kilimanjaro - more specifically the Barranco Wall section - I’m deathly afraid of heights!
What is your spirit animal (or plant?!) and why?
The koi (carp) - in Chinese mythology, dragons are born of carps that make it all the way upstream to source of the Yellow River and then jump over the “Dragon’s Gate”. It’s a symbol of grit, hard work and eventually achievement
Why Retold? (As in, why did you want to start this business?)
Noelle and Amelia were starting a company and I basically invited myself to join them! However, because I DO want to play my part in saving the planet...but, I love a good rack of pork ribs too much to reduce my carbon footprint by turning vegan. This, I can reeeally relate to!
