📏 How big is a Retold Bag?
Each Retold bag can hold up to 5 lbs. Bag dimensions are 15.5 x 17.5 x 4”, thats about the size of a pillow case. In total The Closet Clean-out will take care of 50 lbs!
🧦 What can go into a Retold Bag?
Any and all textile! Chewed up dog toy? Lost sock? We take it all! We request that you give all textiles a good wash and dry before packing them!

GATHER YOUR GEAR & get your bags
Collect all the textiles in your home - that's right, we take pretty much everything*
Then order your bag or sign up for a Subscription. Subscriptions are great for families, people who love shopping or those who need a prompt to cleanse... (Hands up if you drive around with bags of clothes in your trunk?!)
DROP IT LIKE IT'S HOT
Fill your bag - with one sock or cram it full - and drop it off to your post box, mail room, door man etc. Each bag has a pre-paid label attached so you'll never have to wait in line at the Post Office.
We'll then begin telling a new story with your unwanted items...
WE'LL DO THE RIGHT THING
Together with our partners, we'll sift and sort your goods, sending them to thrift stores, donation centers, recyclers, resellers and up-cyclers. We're proud to say nothing will go from your Retold bag to landfill!

It's great to have a bag handy when you come across something you no longer want or need. You can put it in the bag till you fill the bag and mail it.

I love this program, it has motivated me to start cleaning out old clothing that is torn or stained or just too small. I have a problem getting rid of clothing because I don't want it to end up in the landfill. This program has helped me immensely. I love the fact that I can get rid of all the mismatched socks. Now if I could just find some place to get rid of the mismatched lids for plastic containers. LOL I recycle them also.
